The Trail IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market is an important outlet for our farm sales. In the past two years, it has influenced our business’ success, selling our product at two local grocery stores and maintaining a 60-household CSA, all while maintaining constant sales at the market. This success is all a reflection of the exposure we have gained through the market. Consumers are bringing our flowers into their homes who otherwise may not have known about this local option. The market is an invaluable, top-notch local showcase.

My 1st visit to Trail's IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market for 2021 was a morning filled with laughter, the spirit of community and the celebration of spring! My senses were filled with the smells of home cooking, as I explored, sampled, learned and discovered from all of the talented West Kootenay vendors with their wonderful products. I discovered “Spudnuts”, (how have I lived without them!), found local duck eggs, picked up all my final garden plants and so much more……as I left with arms and stomach full, I truly felt like I had just spent some time with a very warm and loving family. The Trail IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market’ bi-weekly schedule on Saturdays makes it possible for us to participate because Jesse works off the farm Monday to Friday. TIFM 2022 accounted for 14% of our annual sales and we anticipate this will go up in 2023 with a few changes we’re making. The BC Farmers Market coupon program is hugely successful for us. The market is run fantastically!

The Trail IncrEDIBLE Farmers Market has been part of our farm for the past 8 years and continues to be one of our main income streams. We were the first farmers to join and haven't left since. It’s provided an amazing opportunity for us to sell our fresh produce to locals and connect with our community.
